According to latest U.S. News & World Report rankings, Mason’s Master of Social Work is a top 70 program.
The College of Public Health is pleased to announce the latest U.S. News & World Report recognizes the Master of Social Work (MSW) is nationally ranked in the top 70 of its discipline. The MSW is #67 nationally, ascending 12 spots from the 2024 rankings, affirming the tremendous strides the College has made in social work education.
“Mason’s Master of Social Work program is designed to provide access to excellence, empower people and communities, and foster systematic change. The interdisciplinary nature of the program trains future social workers to evaluate all the determinants of health when addressing individual, community, and population-level needs,” said Emily Ihara, PhD, MSW, FGSA, chair of the Department of Social Work.
