The Manassas Park Mason and Partners Clinic hosted a successful Community Health Fair on April 28. The community outreach initiative promoted access to health, behavioral health, and wellness resources with the goals early identification and prevention of health and behavioral health issues. Attendees received fun giveaways, educational information, and free health screenings. Students from the Departments of Social Work and Health Administration and the School of Nursing helped make the event a success.
The Community Health Fair provided an excellent learning experience for students from the multiple disciplines that work together in the MAP clinic. Students developed skills in community outreach, marketing, soliciting participants, and public relations. Congratulations to all involved.
