September 22, 2013 - The department seeks a colleague whose innovative ideas and research agenda support our mission of excellence in educating graduate and undergraduate students in a culturally heterogeneous environment and who shares our commitment to social justice. Our MSW program originated with a focus on macro practice, and we retain a strong commitment to both our social change and clinical concentrations, as well as to BSW education. The Department of Social Work is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and has 300 MSW and BSW students.
