National Social Work Month

Empowering Social Workers - March 2024

Join us during National Social Work Month to celebrate the impact of social work and social workers on our local, national, and global communities. In 2024, take time to learn more about the many positive contributions of the profession, and use the items in our toolkit to celebrate all the social workers you know.

Follow the College on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and the Department of Social Work on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and use the hashtags #MasonSocialWork, #SocialWorkMonth, and #NASW to join the conversation.

Self Care Social Media Engagement (open to all)

During self-care week, we're encouraging you to prioritize your well-being by engaging in a self-care activity that brings you joy. Whether it's a walk in nature, practicing mindfulness, or indulging in your favorite hobby, take some time to nurture yourself.

But here's the fun part: we want you to share your self-care journey with us on social media. Snap a photo or video of your self-care activity and post it on your favorite social platform and use #EngagetoRecharge on your posts.

And while you're at it, share your experiences as a social worker in your caption. Whether it's a heartwarming moment with a client, a proud accomplishment in the field, or a valuable lesson learned, we want to hear about it!
